This is why I hate I don't like Mobile games:
I give you "SUPER MARIO!" developed for Smartphones by a Chinese company, and clearly using Sprites/backgrounds from the SUPER MARIO ALLSTARS rendition of SUPER MARIO BROS(1).
But have no fear, as Nintendo HAS taken notice of the clone--produced by Beijing Flyfish Technology Co., who have made several unlicensed games/Apps for smartphones--but, sadly, are but one of MANY Chinese companies who are pilfering Nintendo's IPs.
Nintendo HAS come out, and Yasuhiro Minagawa had this to say:
