So I've been planning for awhile to make a Pokémon Let's Play on YouTube. I was talking to FyreeTSG about this a while back pitching a couple of ideas. I have some more ideas that I haven't told anyone about yet. Don't want to spoil anything right now though. Well get to the details later on. Now I was thinking about doing a long series starting at FireRed and moving through the generations like so: FireRed -> HeartGold -> Emerald -> Platinum -> Black -> Black 2 -> Y But was also considering the fact that most of these games are practically ancient and might not be interesting. So the alternative is to go straight to Y and we'll see from there. These videos would go on a new channel but I was thinking of doing some sort of Review/News/Comment Reply/other stuff type of videos as well and put them on the TNE channel. It would be great if I could get some guest appearances on the "show" and talk about TNE and Pokémon etc. This way we could pull traffic to both channels! Today I'm just looking for your opinions on the matter and I'll go on from there. As for the series it'd most likely be bi-weekly or monthly, so say 1-2 hour episodes... Depends on the content where I am in the game.

All for it! That's a great idea! Let's Plays are ALL over the place, and they are very popular! I watch alot of them myself...
You mentioned having Review/News/Comment Reply and other videos for the channel. I am fully on board for that, and can help edit them to where they are good looking videos.

I say start with the beginning and work your way through! Also because I'd like to see how you might play the games versus the way I have!

Cause I need traffic to my Gameplay channel as well.

I'll be getting a good camera today from my sister. So I'll be recording some from FireRed and Pokémon X too test things out. Might upload the samples somewhere if you guys want a peek at the quality...
I'm a little concerned about the GBA games... I did some test recordings with my phone before and I could see the space between the pixels in the DS Lite screen. Not sure how to fix that, but I'll experiment...
I'll be doing something similar to this video:
