A video review will be added later, much work needs to be done with voice recording, footage capturing, and editing, will take me at least a couple of days.

On August 29th, Nintendo has released there 1st Wii U Pokemon title, Pokemon Rumble U. And if you know of my other channel which is heavily packed with Pokemon content, I can safely consider myself a expert on Pokemon. So, here it is, my first review for this channel, Pokemon Rumble U.
Pokemon Rumble U's somewhat of a story starts with a black capsule with an evil Kyurem toy tripping a toy shop worker transporting other Pokemon toy capsules. Somehow the toy Pokemon escape all over town and the 4 toy Pokemon you start with, Pikachu, Snivy, Oshawatt, and Tepig float down a river onto a mysterious riverbank. From there you must return back to the toy shop.
Gameplay has many similarities yet, is very different from the other games. In ways this game is different, you are just battling it out in a circular stage rather than going through a level. I have not encountered any Pokemon with abilities, so they may have been removed for normal Pokemon, NFC figure Pokemon can have abilities..., and shiny Pokemon return, which I'll explain how later... Other than this, battling in this game works just like it did in the others, if using a wii remote, move with d pad and attack with 1 and 2 buttons. classic controller, move with d-pad or analog stick and attack with a or b. same follows for gamepad and pro controllers. A couple of new features are you now do 4 Pokemon at once, you (if playing alone) and 3 AIs. But do to this, you can no longer switch out Pokemon and if you faint, you lose. but, if you get 2000 coins, you can continue from where you fainted without restarting the level. Also, another new feature for battling, tap blast. You tap blast by filling up the tap blast gauge with these yellow gems, once full, tap the gamepad screen to release the blast. depending where you tap is where the blast will hit. This is very useful in tight situations and boss battles. Another new thing added is candy and giant winds... candy restores hp and status conditions, and a giant wind makes your player larger and stronger.
For additional content, you can enter passwords to obtain Pokemon or you can scan a NFC figure. NFC figures are figures that can be purchased at Gamestop (GAME in UK, EB Games in Canada and Australia) for 4 USD. There are 23 figures. 18 normal, 3 secret, and 2 for pre-order. The NFC figures is a Pokemon you can boost up and make stronger, and you can save all changes to the NFC figure so you can take your NFC Pokemon to where ever a Pokemon Rumble U and a gamepad is... As i mentioned about shiny Pokemon, the only way to get one is buying NFC figures. The 3 secret figures are all shiny Pokemon. I will not list them to prevent taking away the surprise.
Overall from what i played of the game, Pokemon Rumble U is a great looking HD cheap Pokemon game, but i feel it should be cheaper. Compared to what its predecessors offered, a lot of features where removed. But, at least all 649 Pokemon ARE obtainable WITHOUT using the NFC figures or passwords. My rating for this game is a 7.5/10. Great addition to the Rumble series but wait for a sale to buy it if there is one. This game is 18 USD and is only available on the Wii U e-shop. Thank you for your time.
