The Wii was unveiled as Nintendo's "Next step" in gaming, and even though it was so long ago now; what were/are your favorite features on this revolutionary system?
----------------------------------------------
Oh, man... This takes me back... The internet on the Wii was my favorite feature for sure! Browsing, YouTube, and my first forum site!

Back then I didn't have a computer so the wii did my browsing. I was happy to come across some wii friendly sites.

Wii internet!! a BIG help for my many years of Wii Internet HAD to be USB keyboard support... there are still a bunch of Wii games I love, and I thought it was a great JUMP from Gamecube---despite the critics, it STILL was Nintendo's best selling console of all time

Yeah, a keyboard for your Wii... That was your magic pen... I remember that...
Is the Wii the best selling console? I guess it makes sense, because of the people it appealed to because of the price near the end, and the bundles.

yep, best selling Nintendo console...around 90-100 million sold, and yeah, BUNDLES Sell!! that's why Nintendo's typically out sold most of its competition since the NES.

For me, I'd say that the Internet Browser was my favorite feature of the Wii.

internet browser WAS super handy, I'll admit that without it I wouldn't have discovered the magic of Internet Forums(which has been both a curse and a blessing)

For me I think my favorite thing about the Wii was the games. Yea the internet browser was nice; but eventually you realize you need far more then the Wii internet can DO & invest in a pc afterwards. XD Er at least I did. I still enjoy the Wii side of the Wii U playing Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword & other titles. :3

hmm not too many features to begin with, I always found the channels such a gimmick.. but they had strength and weaknesses. for me the most useful was the mii transfer and data transfer. Didn't have to start a new game at a friend's place, all you had to do is bring an sd car, pop it into the wii and boom!
