I feel like nintendo is simply recycling previous material into their mario karts lately. I can't speak for everybody but wouldn't it be bice to have simply ALL new courses instead?
I do enjoy the old tracks as it's somewhat nostalgic but with revamped grapgics and few tweaks here and there. Personally though, I would rather have older levels available as dlc rather than 30-40% of the game.
What are your thoughts?

I'm with you---I like the "retro" courses, but ever since MK Wii it seems they ALWAYS add the older courses. I didn't have a problem, but then they RUIN a lot of them by adding the GLIDER and UNDERWATER sections. The WORSE "updated" retro course is Rainbow Road N64---I love MK64, and Rainbow Road 64, but in MK8 they completely ruined it!!!

if they wanna do RETRO remakes, just do a Mario kart 64 HD update edition, just don't dump all over MY course--WARIO STADIUM--and add freaking gliders and an underwater area for no reason. I know where the glider would go too, but it'd be the most irrelevant addition, and I'd have to boycott the game.

that'd be cool, but I'm fine with simple Mario Kart 64 in it's original cart version.
IF they did do sorta an ALLSTARS collection, like MARIO KART ALLSTARS or something, I think that'd be a great idea, not everyone likes ALL of the MK games. I personally hated MKWii--mainly cause of motorbikes(which I never choose in MK8)

makes sense, it's called mario KART not Mario racing. I personally enjoyed double dash the most. Many don't like it for some reason.

Double Dash was fun, I liked the pair of racers you got to choose, but it got kinda boring.
---The thing about the rehashed and returning courses for NEW Mario Kart games is that they bring back "classic" courses from MK7 on MK8, or MK WIi on MK7---those AREN'T "Classic"--and that adjective is getting really cliche in a lot of ways.

I have to agree with you there. They use the term losely and overtime will obviously lose it's meaning for newer installements in the series.
I find MK8 to be my least favorite mario kart over all. (Thats not to say I fon't like the game, I LOVE it. Especially the sound track) It somehow feels slower paced to me.

i personally think the remake of rainbow 64 on mk8 is way better than the original, the original was just way too long, not challenging. atleast on mk8 theres a little bit more excitement brought to the table. imo
