It's just come and passed, the 20th Anniversary of the ORIGINAL Playstation--having launched in Japan in late 1994, and single-handedly walloping Nintendo, Sega, and anyone else at what became the end of the Console Wars, and the beginning of Sony's tenure as the #1 Gaming Company for well over a decade. To celebrate easily the BIGGEST game console in the 90's(at least not one that played a cartridge), SONY will be releasing a special edition model PS4 made to look like the original PSX(even with the PSX Start-Up sound)

UPDATE: There will ONLY be 12,300 PSOne model PS4's available worldwide---it'll be available for preorder on Dec. 6th---for $499.99!

Featuring the “original gray” color for everything, the 20th anniversary PS4 bundle will include a 500GB PS4 system, the PlayStation Camera, a DualShock 4, the vertical stand, a mono headset, power cord, HDMI cable, USB cable, and manuals. As an added bonus, the surface of the DualShock’s touch pad is embossed with the “△2○×□” pattern, while each PS4 will feature a plate on the lower right-hand corner of the front-side inscribed with a number of 1 through 12,300.
