THERE GOES BOWSER RAMPAGING...
In a recent light-shedding news release, it appears as if the Wii U was slated to be getting a nicely updated SIMCITY game, which was then cancelled in 2011 after a PC version did too poorly. The news comes from unseen64, and the NEW version would also have been released for 360 and PS3.
Part of the problem with the PC version was the "always on" connection needed, which we all know is a quick turn off with a lot of gamers.
This really does bite, cause SimCity was a HUGE title on SNES, and would surely have brought people to the Wii U--imagine ALL the GamePad could've done.

I imagine it would've been pretty cool. I've played one of the Sim City games on PC several years ago, but I was never too good at it.

I loved the SNES and early PC versions back in the 90's. It would be an EPIC game, but with all that EA has become, and the clear LACK of love they have for any Nintendo system....well, we could all hope to see a SIMCITY game for Wii U (MAYBE).
